Proverbs 16:2-4

2 All one’s ways are pure[a] in one’s own eyes,
    but the measurer of motives is the Lord.(A)
3 Entrust your works to the Lord,
    and your plans will succeed.
4 The Lord has made everything for a purpose,
    even the wicked for the evil day.[b]
